ABOUT
I’m a design leader, educator, and storyteller with a career that bridges media, higher education, and mission-driven innovation. Over the past two decades, I’ve led cross-functional teams through complex design challenges—crafting user-centered digital experiences that are clear, accessible, and deeply human.
My work spans UX/UI design, product storytelling, and brand systems across digital and physical platforms. I’ve worked for and collaborated with organizations like CNN, AJC, Warner Bros., The Hewlett Foundation, and Microsoft. In academia, I’ve served as an Assistant Professor of Design, teaching courses in UX, interaction design, design research, and analog game design. My teaching emphasizes critical inquiry, collaboration, and empathy—helping the next generation of designers connect theory to practice and see design as a tool for social and cultural engagement.
Alongside teaching, my research explores design’s role in fostering community, combating social isolation, and building frameworks for co-creation and participation. This includes investigations into speculative design, systems thinking, and the ways design can be used to support public culture, education, and collective problem-solving.
I’m currently focused on applying these skills in sectors where thoughtful design can make a meaningful impact—particularly education, public culture, non-profit, and healthcare. I’m passionate about building collaborative teams, solving complex problems, and designing systems that invite clarity, trust, and participation.
Let’s connect if you’re working at the intersection of design, research, and social good—or building experiences that empower, educate, and engage.
